Causes
Insects have a cold body temperature, and the water in a swimming pool in summer is the perfect place for them, attracting them. Wasps, bees, shoe beetles, and the famous water striders are some of the insects we can see in some swimming pools.
Most die upon contact with water, but others can live on the surface or inside the pool thanks to the permeable quality of water, which allows them to float on top or make an air bubble and submerge.
