Liquid acid product (15% sulphuric acid) for lowering the pH of swimming pool water. Unlike other acids, it does not alter the alkalinity of the water and allows the pH to remain stable and constant. It does not give off toxic vapours or gases. Free sale permitted without the need for a licence for use as an explosive precursor.
This product is regulated as a precursor to explosives under European Regulation 2019/1148.
Dosage to lower pH by 0.1 units: 2.7 L/100 m³ of water.
