Causes
Some pool chemicals contain metals in their composition. Over time, these metals can oxidize and produce a buildup of metallic particles that adhere to the walls, steps, and other elements of the pool, causing stains and dirt that are difficult to remove.
Recommended treatment

Apply Spot Remover near the stains.

Add immediately Ion Magnetic for orange-brown stains or Copper Out for green or lilac stains.
3
Adjust the alkalinity between 80 and 140 ppm and the pH level between 7.0 and 7.2.
